Seedlings and Springtime

It's warm; I'm gardening again!

I've had a few cannabis plants going in my basement over the past few months - got them from my friend Austin in January, and started to flower them in March. One was a male, so I fertilized the three females with it - now I have a ton of seeds to grow this summer. I made my own strains! They are about ready to harvest right now; I will take them down this weekend, and then try to pop those seeds next week.

The strains are as follows:

Vanilla Gorilla x Strawberry Glue
Triple Pink Cookies x Strawberry Glue
Hulk Piss x Strawberry Glue

I'm going to have to come up with some creative names! I'm a cannabis breeder and I get to name my own strains - and they're rare as fuck! I will share the seeds with Austin for sure - the Hulk Piss cross is going to be awesome.

I also found some old seeds in my stash - Blue Dream, Gorilla Glue, Ogre, and Afghan. They sprouted a week ago and they're in the window sill. Once the flowering plants are done this weekend, I will put these little ones in the grow room under the 1000w until mid-June. Depends on the weather, but I usually put them outside around the solstice. I don't know if these will be male or female, so another opportunity for further breeding and more new strains So much fun, takes my mind off the bullshit and gives me something to focus on.

I have a bunch of pepper plants going to  - Inferno, Orange Blaze, Gypsy, Cubanello, Chocolate, Hot Banana, and Hungarian Wax. Going to make some crazy hot sauces this year - so many inferno seeds popped off - super hearty and doing well.

Time moves fast and slow at the same time; relative AF. These seedlings will be flowering and mature before I know it, and it will be time for a harvest party. Mom and Dad are coming back next weekend - lots of projects to accomplish, and things to figure out. It's getting warmer, things are looking up. I stopped watching the news - I don't care about this virus, or politics, or the awful state of everything - I'm happy in my mountain cabin - working the land, getting a tan, eating right and getting exercise, and trying to chill the fuck out during all this incredibly ridiculous bullshit.
