Past Garage Vol. 4 - 1991 Ford Taurus SHO Plus

1991 Ford Taurus SHO Plus - I kind of hated driving the Jeep as an everyday commuter, but that was also partially an excuse to get another SHO as a second car. This time I went with a manual. A 1991 first gen that only had 72K on it when I bought it. Babied by a single owner in Fairfield county. It came with a car phone! This was the one I should have had from the beginning. The manual was so much more fun than the auto - really able to keep it in the secondaries range. I put a system in it and daily drive it for a year maybe? I ended up selling it to my friend Steve after he crashed his pick up in the snow. He did some work to it but eventually trashed it a few months later. I remember taking it to Cape Cod, wondering if it would make it. I also remember people at Computershare wondering why I drive such an old shitty car; then they realized it was my second car when I would take the Jeep on nice days. But my fondest memory is rowing the gears for sure - this was my first quick car with a manual.
